Qualifications: Early Childhood Education Diploma
Sound knowledge of the Day Nursuries Act
Registered with the College of Early Childhood Education
Demonstrated experience working with children newborn to 12 years of age
Proficiency in Aboriginal, First Nation, or Metis culture, language, customs and health practices
Current First Aid/CPR and Whimis
Food handlers course
Current and up to date immunization record

Who is eligible for an Internship? Northern Ontario secondary school graduates 29 years of age or under who recently graduated from an accredited college or university. Graduates from a high school outside of Northern Ontario who have resided in the North for at least one year are also eligible. Mature graduates may be considered.
Term: This is a full-time, one-year (52-week) contract with possibility of full-time permanent employment.
The Accounting / Marketing Assistant will work will learn all aspects of the JPL Group of Companies to be able to offer assistance in all departments, especially marketing and accounting. The intern will be exposed to all elements of the business cycle and to various different types of industries. The intern will also be responsible for enhancing our social media presence as well as assisting with the development and implementation of various processes and procedures in the company.
The Accounting / Marketing Assistant’s role provides the opportunity for a Youth Intern to contribute his / her creativity, business skills, marketing talent and organizational proficiency to a fast-paced growing company.
Education and Training Required:
Degree or diploma in business and/or marketing and/or accounting.
